Our recently renovated and upgraded facilities at iQ Medical Ltd in Rugby, Warwickshire, provides a central base for the cleaning and decontamination of medical equipment.
We use a one-way system and fully segregated areas throughout the decontamination process, to prevent cross contamination, with separated dirty and clean entrances and storage areas.
Products are decontaminated with a specialist sporicidal disinfectant with high level bactericidal and virucidal properties, eliminating the use of harsh bleaching agents.
We perform a thermal disinfection of mattress covers in a dedicated laundry area and our purpose built, bespoke mattress drying room enables a rapid equipment turnaround reducing any downtime.
Equipment is collected and returned by our own vehicles which are regularly decontaminated ensuring segregation of clean and dirty systems.
We use ATP testing to ensure our cleaning and decontamination processes are of the highest quality.
