At iQ Medical, we’re committed to supporting our healthcare heroes. Our team were out and about this week in support of Stop the Pressure Campaigns.
Are you really looking, are you really listening…? This year’s campaign focus was particularly meaningful, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and recognising pressure damage across all skin tones and addressing the unique challenges of caring for End of Life patients.
Dan Reilly our Commercial Manager was on-site at Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham, proudly campaigning with their Tissue Viability Team.
Our Commercial Manager Lisa Hinchliffe was at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, proudly supporting the Tissue Viability Team during their Stop the Pressure Day. It was fantastic to hear about the incredible success of their campaign with an amazing 1,108 questionnaire’s completed across all four sites, the event exceeded all expectations.
Did you know that in older people Pressure Ulcers are associated with a Fivefold increase in mortality with hospital mortality reported at 25% to 35%. The more we can do to raise awareness the better the chances of survival rates and reduced mortality rates.
Our iQ team were proud to have supported this campaign and look forward to continuing efforts to help raise awareness.
