The Star II Plus is a dynamic mattress replacement system combining two therapies dynamic and continuous low pressure. Both therapies provide pressure redistribution promoting both immersion and envelopment of the patient into the surface minimising high peak pressures under vulnerable areas of the patients skin.
The Star II Plus System is designed to offer optimal support for the plus size patient. The system can accommodate patients assessed to be up to very high risk of developing pressure injuries or have existing tissue damage up to category IV with a patient weight limit of up to 350kg.

The system combines two therapy modes to suit both patient and clinical preference: Alternating Therapy and Continuous Low Pressure therapy.
Both therapies provide pressure redistribution promoting immersion and envelopment of the patient into the surface and optimise patient comfort.
Incorporates a permanently inflated subcell which provides protection against bottoming out as, in the event of power cut or a damaged cell, the bottom layer of cells remain inflated.
Intelligent Pressure Management (IPM) Technology monitors, detects and automatically responds to changes in patient weight, position and posture minimising high peak pressures under vulnerable areas of the patient’s skin. IPM technology saves power during cycling times - reducing stock and maintenance costs.

Antimicrobial, waterproof, multi-stretch cover and base sheet are easy to clean, feature welded seams and handles, cable management conduits and 360° zip for easy removal of top cover.
